about
META PHYSICA was founded to create a cultural shift towards prioritizing self-care, providing an accessible space to Detroit that recognizes the importance of interconnected well-being. To empower individuals to prioritize self-care, fostering a culture of wellness that transcends socio-economic boundaries and returns our patrons to a balanced state of homeostasis.
By creating an environment that nurtures the whole self, we empower our clients to achieve a state of complete well-being, cultivating the essential care to enrich lives by promoting health and wellness. Our Story
Jenaveve Biernat is the founder and lead therapist at Meta Physica. Her rich experience in well-being practices and treatments motivated the establishment of Meta Physica in Detroit. Her ethos in wellbeing is inclusivity; everyone should have the ability to connect to and take care of their bodies. This was how Meta Physica began in 2012.
Jenaveve's desire to want to feel better comes from the pain of living with a long-standing autoimmune disorder that went undiagnosed until she was 26 years old. It was the steady application of diet, massage, and infrared sauna that has led her to be symptom and medication-free and fuels her desire to help others heal themselves.
Meta Physica strives to make people feel better, physically and emotionally, and teach people about their bodies and how to help themselves.
